Map a Windows Drive to Rocket Tech R3
We're always looking for ways to make R3 storage more accessible. We were thrilled
to find the FREE S3 Drive application from /n Software. With a couple steps,
you can mount your R3 buckets as drive letters on any Windows machine!
Step 1: Download S3 Drive
Download and install S3 drive here
Step 2: Create a new connection
Step 3: Add R3 as a Provider
Step 4: Add the Service Endpoint URL
Step 5: Add the R3 Region
Step 6: Add Your Account Details
Step 7: Connect and Enjoy!
* Note that with the free version of S3 Drive you'll need
to launch the program and hit connect at each login.

R3 Buckets Public Directory Listing and Static Website Support
We've been hard at work building a frontend to the R3 storage service that supports
directory listing and static website hosting similar to Amazon S3.
Objects set to public access can always be linked directly using your bucket name and object path.
If a bucket and its contents are set to public and you link to a folder, the R3 system looks for an
index.html then index.html file. If either exist, that file is served up to the user.
If no index file is present, a directory listing is generated.

You'll currently need to use an S3 client like Cloudberry Explorer or S3 Browser to set bucket
and object permissions. Once set, you'll receive a public indication in the R3 web interface:
